Patient & Family Resources

Patient Information Guide - click here

We offer a number of resources for patients and their families in keeping with our commitment to quality care. These include:

The Chaplaincy Program

A volunteer Chaplaincy program is provided by members of the local professional clergy. Our chaplains are specially trained and qualified to address the spiritual needs of our patients, families, visitors, and staff. These ministers are on call 24/7. If you wish to see a hospital chaplain, please ask a nurse or a Patient Relations Representative to assist you.

Patient Relations Representatives

Houston Healthcare has designed a patient relations program to ensure your stay with us is as comfortable as possible. Our Patient Relations Representatives serve as liaisons between patients and families and hospital staff. They are available to answer questions and obtain information or assist you with any special needs you may have during your stay. If you wish to speak with a Patient Relations Representative, please ask your nurse, and they will contact them for you.

Community Resources

There are many organizations, and avenues, that provide additional assistance and resources in Houston County for those that are in need.
For those that are better accessed outside of the hospital setting, we've provided a link below to the Houston County Family Connection and it's freely accessed Resource Guide (annually updated) that provides contact information for many organizations and contacts in the county.
