
Houston Healthcare’s Patient Experience Committee works on improving patient satisfaction scores by encouraging staff to be the best they can be – every patient, every time. At a monthly Directors Meeting at the Cary W. Martin Conference Center, the Houston Healthcare management team comes together to celebrate our staff through a staff recognition program – The Patient Experience Star Awards – based on monthly patient satisfaction scoring received by the organization.
Patient feedback scores help our clinical depts compete to achieve the right to display the Patient Experience’s Shining Star and/or Rising Star Awards within their departments for the month.
The clinical departments are as follows:
The clinical department awarded the Inpatient Shining Star award then turns around and nominates their choice for the Support Star Award - the nonclinical department that assisted the clinical awardee the most during the month they earned their nomination.
