Houston Healthcare is seeking a driven MD or DO Family Medicine physician
to join our Family Medicine Residency Program as core faculty. This position
is ideal for a physician who is passionate about teaching, mentorship,
and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Faculty members will
work closely with residents and medical students in clinical and academic
settings to support their development as future leaders in family medicine
all within a supportive community and healthcare system that values your impact.
What You’ll Do
- Educate and Mentor: Provide direct and indirect supervision and clinical
teaching for resident physicians and medical students in various clinical
settings to include inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Curriculum & Program Development: Participate in program orientation,
scheduling, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring
alignment with ACGME standards.
- Guide and Advise: Serve as a formal advisor, conduct resident evaluations,
and assist with individual education plans and scholarly activity.
- Recruit and Represent: Take part in the resident selection process, interviews,
and community-based events that promote the program.
- Contribute to Quality and Scholarship: Engage in quality improvement projects
and scholarly work, with support for presenting at local, regional, or
national conferences.
- Faculty Engagement: Attend didactics, monthly faculty development sessions,
and participate in hospital and program meetings.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Base Salary + Bonuses

Qualifications
- MD or DO with current Georgia medical license (or eligibility)
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Passion for medical education and resident development
