Melinda (Mindy) DeAngelis Hartley

Dr. Hartley joined Houston Healthcare as the Director of Critical Care Nursing in February 2007. She was selected as the VP of Patient Care/Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in February 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University, A Masters of Science in Nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University, and a terminal degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Medical College of Georgia. She is a Board Certified Nurse Executive (ANCC). Dr. Hartley was named the Chief Operating Officer in February 2020.

Dr. Hartley brings over twenty-five years of experience to Houston Healthcare. She served as a United States Naval Officer and worked at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital prior to coming to work at Houston Healthcare. She earned her “Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in Healthcare” in 2018 and was awarded the Advanced ICU Care Award for Leadership and implementation of the Tele-ICU program at Houston Healthcare. She has served on the Boards of Central Georgia Technical College and Georgia College and State University.
