Houston Healthcare’s Imaging Services Dept is celebrating Breast
Cancer Awareness Month with several events planned throughout the month.

Pink Out
On October 7th, Houston Healthcare’s Marketing Dept held a Pink Out! for staff
to wear pink in honor of those who are fighting, those who have survived,
and those who are no longer with us, due to breast cancer.
Staff were encouraged to wear pink on this day to show their support for
Breast Cancer Awareness and solidarity to all those affected by breast
cancer diagnoses.

Bingo For Breast Cancer
On October 13th, (National Breast Cancer Awareness Day), Imaging Services hosted a Bingo
fundraising event to provide low cost mammograms to those in need in our
community.

Girls Day Out Brunch
On October 22nd, Pavilion Diagnostic Center will host a “By Appointment Only”
event from 8am until Noon and provide brunch for those with a mammogram
appointment during this event.

Pink Pumpkin Decorating Contest
In October, in lieu of the annual Fall pumpkin decorating contest, Houston
Healthcare staff will be decorating pumpkins in support of Breast Cancer
Awareness.
