The Imaging Services area at Perry Hospital offers state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Our mobile MRI unit is available at our facility 3 days a week with various times for your convenience and is a 1.5 Telsa strength magnet, which allows for much clearer images and greater detailed images than other "open" MRI units. With the process of "Diffusion" used on Brain MRI procedures, the Radiologist is able to have a much clearer view in diagnosing a stroke as being new onset or older and in the past. Another advantage is a reduced exam time for the patient.

The CT suite is just as comparable. This new multi-slice technologically advanced machine allows for a quicker turnaround for the patient and more detailed images for the physician.

• Digital Mammography

• Ultrasound, including a guided Breast biopsy system called Mammotome which allows for certain breast lesions to be removed with no hospitalization or "Operating Room procedure" performed. Patients come to us as an outpatient and leave after it is completed and go home with no "incision" or scarring compared to other alternatives.

Girls Night Out for Good Health

Offers after-hours mammograms in a VIP, spa-like setting for women who are due or past due for their annual screening, but are unable to schedule a mammogram during normal business hours. "Girls Night Out for Good Health" is held on a Thursday evening each month from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., alternating between Perry Hospital and the Pavilion Diagnostic Center. Both locations offer digital mammography screening. Up to 20 mammograms can be scheduled during the three-hour event, which includes complimentary spa services, such as mini-manicures, facials and massages, as well as food, drinks and music.
