Houston Heart Institute to Host 5^th Annual 5K Rhythm Run to Promote Heart Disease Awareness

Houston Healthcare’s Houston Heart Institute will host its 5th Annual Rhythm Run, a 5K Run/Walk and One Mile Health Walk, on Saturday, March 12th at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. in front of the Houston Heart Institute on Hospital Drive, followed by the race at 8:30 a.m. Registration is $10 in advance and $15 the day of the race. There is also a “no-shirt” registration option for $5. The Rhythm Run is a “Run and See Georgia Grand Prix Series” event.

All runners and walkers are welcome and encouraged to participate to promote heart health and heart disease awareness. Trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female winners and Master 5K runners, and to the top three finishers in each age group up to 75 years and older. Short sleeve T-shirts are guaranteed for pre-registrants only. Additional T-shirts will be available on race day as supplies last. Shirt size availability will be determined on a first-come, first-serve basis on race day. The event will be cancelled in the event of extreme weather only.
