Melinda DeAngelis Hartley, MSN, RN, NE-BC

Chief Nursing Officer

Mrs. Hartley joined Houston Healthcare as the Director of Medical/Surgical Nursing in February 2007 and was promoted to Assistant Chief Nurse Executive in 2008. Mrs. Hartley was selected as the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in February 2009. As CNO, Mrs. Hartley provides the overall patient care leadership for Houston Healthcare. She also serves as the Director of Nursing for Houston Medical Center.

Mrs. Hartley began her healthcare career at Candler Hospital as a Pulmonary Nurse and moved into various clinical positions at Candler. After the affiliation of Candler and St. Joseph's Hospital, Mrs. Hartley was promoted into management. Mrs. Hartley is a Board Certified Nurse Executive (ANCC), Masters prepared Nurse Administrator, holds a Bachelors in Nursing, Inducted into the nurses honor society, Sigma Theta Tau, and is a member of Georgia Organization of Nurse Leaders and Georgia Nurses Association.
