Administrator, Houston Medical Center

Mrs. Thomas Gordon joined Houston Healthcare as Administrator of Houston Medical Center in January 2008. Prior to joining Houston Healthcare, she was the Executive-In-Residence on the faculty of University of Florida. She has previously served as Director of Operations (COO) at Shands AGH, and as Vice President/COO for the Children's Hospital of Michigan.

She earned an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the Medical College of Georgia. She is board certified in healthcare management and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). She previously served on the Board of Governors for the ACHE.
