Reducing Your Risk of Multiple Myeloma

The cause of multiple myeloma is not known. There are no well-established guidelines for reducing your risk of the disease.

Exposure to toxic chemicals and radiation is believed to increase the risk of multiple myeloma and other cancers. It is a good idea to avoid these substances.
