Treatments for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma

The treatment and management of non-Hodgkins lymphoma may involve radiation therapy, chemotherapy, biological modifiers, medications to help with side effects, and other treatments, such as bone marrow transplant. Different therapies may also be used in combination. Your doctor will recommend a treatment plan for your specific needs. In general, treatment options depend on the stage of the cancer, where it is located, symptoms, your age, and whether or not you have other medical conditions. Treatment may be delayed until the disease progresses to the point where symptoms occur.

The goal of treatment is to kill the cancer cells.
