Treatments for Celiac Disease


There is no cure for celiac disease. The only effective treatment is to control symptoms and prevent complications by eating a gluten-free diet. Medication is used to help control intestinal inflammation in severe cases. If you develop nutritional deficiencies or lose bone mass, other treatment may be necessary.
