The Patient Channel

Houston Healthcare offers The Patient Channel, an internal television channel for our patients, families and guests providing health and hospital information. The Patient Channel covers medical topics such as cancer, heart disease, asthma, diabetes and other related topics, as well as a schedule of our available health classes and events through our Community Education and Services department. The Patient Channel also features “Natural Surroundings,” a program of relaxing audio and video designed to help patients rest and sleep, which research shows promotes shorter hospital stays and quicker recovery. Every aspect of The Patient Channel was created to benefit the patients of Houston Healthcare and promote a better quality of life for all of our patients, families and guests.

• At Perry Hospital, The Patient Channel can be found on Channel 41.
