Medical Staff Education

As a service to Houston Healthcare Medical Staff we offer continuing medical education activities that will enable them to provide the highest quality of care to their patients by enhancing their clinic and professional skills. We currently offer two regularly scheduled conferences and all physicians are invited to attend.

Cancer Care Conference

Second Wednesday, Monthly
12:00-1:00 pm, HMC Lobby Conference Room (also available via teleconference)
Objective: To discuss and apply the practice guidelines and staging algorithms as recommended by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.

Cardiac Cath Conference

Last Friday, Quarterly
8:30-9:30 am, HMC Lower Lobby Classroom 2
Objective: To discuss and apply the practice guidelines as recommended by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.

Other events are planned throughout the year, including onsite ACLS. Teleconferences/webinars are also available.
